Went to the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival (Providence, RI). Excellent weekend: met a lot of interesting people, had good conversations, and bought books.

We watched a lot of films. "Feed The Light" was certainly one of them. If Heaven is merciful, it will someday efface from my consciousness the scene where ( a gross thing happened. )

Somebody is trying to sub-let Lovecraft's old apartment on Craigslist. Check it out while the ad is current. I've read too many of Lovecraft's letters about how much the building sucked to be interested, myself, even if I wanted to live in Providence. However, it looks to have been redone since the thirties, and it's much prettier than I expected. ( Read more... )
